Work on your museum object drawing. THink of ways to transfer your thumbnail onto a larger page, incorporating the other items IN SPACE, receding back.<\/div>\n

Create the angle grid on tracing paper. Bring this to class along with another sheet of tracing paper the same size. You DO NOT have to draw your shoe, yet.<\/strong> Just bring I the grid and extra paper along with normal supplies.<\/p>\n

We discussed the principles of composition as it relates to drawing and \u00a0design. I lectured on the different artists who incorporate perspective into major areas of their work . Caillebotte, Seurat and Bonnard.<\/div>\n

We had a major crit on past work, and concentrated on line – though tone has been introduced through the value scale assignment.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We also created viewfinders out of matte board , and drafted up several drawings using various compositional arrangements.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We talked about Notan or balance in composition and the importance of blocking out large areas first.<\/div>\n
